Da oggi è possibile acquistare tramite l’Apple Store Online il kit di TomTom pensato proprio per iPhone. Il costo, a differenza di quanto si è detto nelle settimane scorse, è di € 99.95.

Per il momento non possiamo sapere se con il TomTom Car Kit sia incluso anche il software di navigazione, non appena ne verremo a conoscenza ve lo faremo sapere.
Aggiornamento: il kit è già stato rimosso. Macworld UK riporta il seguente comunicato da parte di TomTom:
TomTom has sent out a short press release after our story which confirms the car kit does not include the TomTom for iPhone application.
“TomTom announces today that the TomTom car kit for the iPhone will have a recommended retail price of £99.99.
The TomTom car kit will be available this October and will be sold separately from the TomTom app. It will be compatible with the iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS.”
Il kit tornerà disponibile ad Ottobre ed il prezzo consigliato è di £99.99. All’interno del prezzo non vi sarà compreso il software.
